Masters projects 3 & 4.

Finally, back again after quite a while! No excuses, just life in general has been way too hectic for my liking. But hey, I am here, and I am keen to get the rest of my Masters entries out of the way so I can start to show something new!
So here goes!
Firstly a layout with the journalling as the focus:

This is the page where I knew what look I was going for but did not quite "get" what i wanted and did not have the energy or the time to redo!! Yes it was a little bit of a disappointment really, but hey what is done is done!

We might just skim over the details with this one, LOL!
I used a Scrap FX stamp spot set that I love and a few left over bits and pieces to finish off the journalling section.

The chippies all got the rough embossing treatment that I love then I gave them all a spray with the colour I was using on the background.
Now for the last project we had to do a journal cover. I have done a lot of these in the past and really love doing them, this one is called "Perfectly Imperfect" as I will use it as a "junky" art journal where I will experiment with new techniques!

A lot of texture in the background using molding paste and the squares and circles stencil
by Scrap FX. Then I went a little crazy with some ink and colour sprays, shadowed a few "edges" of the texture with a charcoal pencil to make them pop.

The title and other chippies are also Scrap FX but the leaves are metal and I have added some embossing enamel to them to give that worn effect and a little bit of gold!

The title chipboard is treated with an embossing enamel by Stampendous, just cannot keep away from the lovely course powder!
Sprinkled a few sequins around and embossed the edges with the same enamel to tie it all together then finished it off with some dots from a pearl pen.
So there you go I am done and I am ready to get creating for 2015, it's almost March already and I really do not know where that first little bit of the year has gone!!
Bye my Friends Hugs for the love!
 Much appreciated in advance!!
Stay Happy everyone!

  2. I love both these projects!!!! Your layout looks fantastic I'd be proud of it but I do know what you mean when you a have a vision for a project and it doesn't turn out how you want it's hard to be 100% happy with it. The texture and colours on the journal cover are gorgeous.
