Time for a Scrap Friends Sketch!

Back again with another sketch challenge, it seems there are some great ones out there that are appealing to me! This is the sketch at Scrap Friends this month:

Isn't it just too cool? I loved all the arrows and how masculine it seemed!
So without further ado here is what I created:

Yes, all my boys are featured again, but at least I have good picks of 2 of them.
My eldest thinks it is his right to wreck a photo with his silly mug!!!
I used a new Scrap FX stencil on the background there are so many cool designs in their line now, this one is really teeny and is so easy to manoeuvre around a page I now want to get my hands on all of them!! I also embossed a chippie to make a frame for the centre circle.

The title is a wordlet also from Scrap FX that I cut in half to add a little balance to the page.
So that is about all there is to say about this one actually pretty simple really nothing too tricky, I found I stuck to the sketch pretty well, I must have really liked it!!
Thanks so much for dropping by. If you have any questions send me a message or ask in the comments below!
Till next time,

Mood Board Challenge at Scrap Around the World

Hello everyone, I am on a mission to get some more scrapping done as the weather turns chilly and indoors is the only place to be! So I have discovered a cool challenge over at Scrap Around The World.
It is a sketch as well as a mood board, loved all the groovy cameras, so had to put at least one on my page:

And here is my take on it:

Once again using all those summer photos trying to think "warm"! This is my youngest enjoying the surf at Phillip Island.
Used a cool new Stencil and alpha from Scrap FX.The alpha has a real graffiti feel to it, perfect for my boyish pages!

Loved using the banners again helps me rid myself of all those scraps!
Well thanks for stopping by now I am off to get more done, gotta keep these fingers moving to stay warm!

A sketch challenge for Skissedilla #213

To make up for the fact I only did 1 challenge last month I have made an effort to get some scrappin' done! So here is the first challenge for the month completed. I loved the sketch for this week over at Skissedilla, so thought I would kick off the month with it!
Here is sketch 213:

And here is what I managed to get done for it:

Went a little OTT with the background, had a play with the brand new Scrap FX stencils and it would appear I could not stop!!
Otherwise the LO is very simple and was quite happy with minimal embellishment because the BG was just soooooo.... well in your face I guess!

Anyway thanks so much for stopping by will be back with another very soon!

More Scrap FX Fun

As promised I am back to show a couple more pages created for Scrap FX this month.
Ok one is super feminine, not my usual style but I liked the result, I even used PINK!!
So I will not linger any longer here they are:

First the totally girly page that features my gorgeous niece, Logan:

Yep this is as pink as I get! I loved the Baby Girl Theme Pack and the Welcome Baby Theme Pack from Scrap FX so I had to use them! There is also a boy version but my photos of my boys when they were babies left alot to be desired so I had to think outside my comfort zone!

The next one is totally the opposite...... a totally boy page:

Just adored the teeny bikes in the new releases so had to get my hands on them straight away! I combined them with an old wordlet and some cool arrows from an earlier release I thought they worked a treat!

So that is all I have for now still have a few things in the works so off to put the finishing touches on them!
Till next time

Playing with Scrap FX newbies!

Hi All!
This weekend I had a bit of a play with all the new Scrap FX gear. They are so sweet, lots of baby themed stuff and teeny weeny bits and pieces! It all got me thinking a little outside my usual box even played with a touch of pink.... yes pink!!! EEk!
So here is my first one using a photo of my sweet niece Hayley and her best buddy Sydney!!

Just love this photo, Sydney is just a big beautiful boy who is about 10 months old here and Hayley just loves him to bits!
I have used an awesome new wordlet from Scrap FX here, and teeny tiny wings and a coathanger from the new range.

So that is the first LO done, I will keep you in suspense for the next 2 as I am off to the footy with the boys and will be back late in the day with frozen tootsies and a runny nose...... love Winter.... not!!
Will post the next one tomorrow,
 till then happy scrappin'!
